Reordering - St. Martin's, Eynsford
Project Header

Project Title

Thank you!

A very big thank you to everyone who attended the project community launch at the end of January. We were delighted by a good attendance and lots of positive feedback. Now is the time when we need to turn goodwill into hard cash.

If you are able to make a donation to the reordering project, please use the giving form that will shortly be arriving through your door, or contact me or Norman Hamblyn.

If you are able to put on a fundraising event to support us, please do so. We will gladly supply information and a speaker should you wish.

If you can put us in touch with any individuals, companies or trusts which might be able to help us please speak to me or Alan Cramer.

We are delighted to report donations received now bring the total funds available to us for the reordering to £184,579. These donations take us over the half way point to our £350,000 target. Only £165,421 left to go!

If we are to start the reordering work in the Autumn as planned we need to have reached our target by the end of May. Come on Eynsford! With the help of God and by working together we can crack this!

Rev Gary Owen

The Vision

The Plan

January 2012

The Redevelopment Committee is now very excited about the Community launch of our reordering project. We have formally invited local government representatives and the leaders of village groups. We have emailed church electoral roll members asking them to invite friends and neighbours. We looked forward to an enjoyable evening and sharing with our village the exciting plans for our beautiful church building. We hope as many Trident readers as possible will come along, and spread the word encouraging others to do so also.

The Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC) visited the church on Thursday 12th January. This is the Diocesan body which advises on buildings and in the end will need to give permission for the project to go ahead. The DAC were impressed with the project and very supportive. They have made some helpful suggestions about details that might improve the project and we will be taking these on board.

We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the project so far. The total raised (or pledged) now stands at £168, 425. So only £181,575 to go!

Community Launch Event
Friday 27th January, 6.00-8.00pm in St Martin’s

Plans for the reordering will be available for viewing, wine and nibbles served, talks by Rev Gary at 6.30pm and 7.30pm, background music by DVYM at 6.00pm and 7.00pm
